We will be painting and applying our groom on the inflated version and then transferring this to the simulated/animated geometry.

Generating Guide Curves

Hairgen = Guidegen (it’s all curves)

Next Steps

Apply a Arnold Hair Shader.

Get a still frame render out.

Experiment with groom tools. Most tools (guideprocess etc) are best operating on the guides but you can do final processing (clumping etc.) on the hairgen.
